"This past Christmas season having attended concerts by the American Boy Choir (ABS Trenton, NJ), their resident choir in Matawan December 7, their concert choir’s sacred Lessons and Carols Dec 20 in the Princeton University Chapel and Winter Wonderland December 9 in Milburn, NJ and also concerts by the Philadelphia Boyschoir and Chorale December 21 at the Irvine Auditorium, the Vienna Boys Choir December 16 at the Keswick Theatre and listening on Public Radio Christmas Eve morning to the King’s College Cambridge Choir from England and finally the Christmas Eve Mass at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, your service was head and shoulders above all the other excellent performances, crowning Christmastide in the most wonderful way possible.
Your musical selections and emotional impact lift the word WOW on my lips many times. Last year’s service December 07 was great but this year was fantastic. The piece by Caccini, Ave Maria arranged by Tom Windfelder was pure beauty.
The boys look great in their singing cassocks, like little cardinals, very lovely and their reverent faith and dedication to their motto “Cantate Domino” clearly evident.
Overwhelming was the beauty of the boys, the beauty of the singing, the beauty of the music and the beauty of the Cathedral itself.
